YFAC Youth Basketball League - Winter 2026

OPEN REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

ONLY PLAYERS WITH AN EXISTING TEAM ARE ALLOWED TO REGISTER

 Season Format:  6-game regular season, Post-season Tournament (2-5 games)

Season Schedule:
1/5/26 - 3/8/26
Weekdays 5:30-9pm
Some Weekends 9am-8pm

Divisions:
• Pre-K-10th Grade
• Separate Rec and Competitive where feasible

Cost:
Players are registered individually.
• Early registration
• Regular registration
• Late registration

Eligibility:
Divisions are grade based and also constrained by age per OSSAA defined regulations.
Players/teams may elect to play up 1-2 grade levels. Players are not allowed to play down.

Roster Assignment:
• Already have a team? List your coach's name during registration
• No team? We will assign you to a volunteer coach
Coaches:
• If you have a team, make sure to list your roster during registration
• If you don't have a team we will assign you players

Player Registration Instructions:

• Enrollee: Player Name
• Enrollment type: Player
Players who intend to play in multiple divisions will need a separate registration for each team.

Coach Registration Instructions:
Click "Volunteer" below and make the following selections:
• Enrollee: Coach Name
• Enrollment type: Volunteer
All coaches, including assistant coaches, must be registered.

Team logistics and communication:
YFAC does not organize team communication, practice schedules or facilities. This will be the responsibility of the coaches and parents.

Uniform Info:
All teams are required to wear numbered jerseys/shirts. Both light(home) and dark(away) versions are required. YFAC reversible basketball jerseys will be available for purchase through the Jordan store at YFAC.

YFAC Youth 3v3 Basketball - Spring 2026

Join us for our Spring 2026 Youth 3v3 Basketball League! 3v3 provides a great chance for players to develop and showcase their skills in a half-court format where each possession (and each player!) matter.

3v3 basketball offers developmental benefits such as:
• More Touches
      With fewer players on the court, each individual gets more opportunities to dribble, pass, and shoot
• Enhanced Decision Making
      The additional space created from having fewer players offers great opportunities for young players to read the court and make good decisions with the ball
• More Confidence
      3v3 forces players who tend to hide from the action to take a more pivotal role, promoting confidence through expanded responsibility

LEAGUE DETAILS

WHAT:
• Half-court 3v3 basketball
• 8 game regular season + post-season playoff
• 10 minute running clock halves

WHO:
• 2nd - HS Boys and Girls
• Depending on number of teams registered, divisions may combine or split into rec/competitive

WHEN:
• Tuesday and Thursday evenings
• 2 games per week, usually on the same night
• 3/31 - 5/7
• 5:30-9:00 PM
Note: Playoff schedules may differ

WHERE:
• All games held at the Young Family Athletic Center

REGISTRATION:
This is a team registration. Head coaches register their team by clicking "Enroll" below.
•Registration open 2/9 - 3/15
• $350/team (increases to $400/team after 3/8)
Note: Teams may elect to play up 1-2 grade levels. No team will be allowed to play down.

ROSTERS:
We recommend 4-6 players per team. Rosters will be entered by the coach at time of registration. If players need to be added or removed after registration, please email yfac_leagues@normanok.gov.

UNIFORMS:
All teams are required to wear numbered jerseys/shirts. Both light(home) and dark(away) versions are required. YFAC does not provide uniforms.

PRACTICE:
Coaches are responsible for practice accommodations and scheduling. Practice space is not provided by YFAC.

YFAC Spring Volleyball - Spring 2026

YFAC Spring Volleyball League

• Co-ed Divisions: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 
• If needed for divisions, grades will be combined into "2nd, 3rd & 4th", &  "5th & 6th"

Spring Volleyball League:

• 8 games and a post season tournament
• Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Regular season games will begin the week of 03/23 and end 05/10
• Post season single elimination tournament will be May 11-14
  

Registration is 12/29- 2/22

Early Registration: $85 12/29/25- 01/18/26  

Regular Registration: $105 01/19-02/8

Late Registration: $125 02/9-02/22

• Uniforms are not included
• Practice space available at the Norman Optimist Hangar
