Trae Young Academy Player Evaluations - Spring 2026

Trae Young Academy provides:

• Focused Player Development

• Participation in Regional Tournaments and Leagues

Eligible Players:

• 2nd-9th grade boys and girls

Player Commitment:

Players who are accepted will receive detailed team offers after evaluations. Families who accept their player's offer will be asked to commit to:

• 6 month term (Apr 1 - Sept 30)
• $140 monthly dues

Evaluation Schedule:

• 2nd-4th Grade: Wed 3/11 6-8pm
• 5th-6th Grade: Thu 3/12 6-8pm
• 7th-9th Grade: Fri 3/13 6-8pm

Additional info regarding evaluations will be emailed to all registrants before the evaluation dates.

Spring Break Volleyball Foundations Skills - Spring 2026

YFAC Volleyball Camp, hosted by Joanna Boyd on March 16th and 17th from 9:00am-12:00 pm. For youth grades 2nd-6th. 

This clinic is for youth players (beginners and returning players) in 2nd through 6th grades. We will cover passing, serving, serve-receive, setting, and more!

YFAC Youth 3v3 Basketball - Spring 2026

Join us for our Spring 2026 Youth 3v3 Basketball League! 3v3 provides a great chance for players to develop and showcase their skills in a half-court format where each possession (and each player!) matter.

3v3 basketball offers developmental benefits such as:
• More Touches
      With fewer players on the court, each individual gets more opportunities to dribble, pass, and shoot
• Enhanced Decision Making
      The additional space created from having fewer players offers great opportunities for young players to read the court and make good decisions with the ball
• More Confidence
      3v3 forces players who tend to hide from the action to take a more pivotal role, promoting confidence through expanded responsibility

LEAGUE DETAILS

WHAT:
• Half-court 3v3 basketball
• 8 game regular season + post-season playoff
• 10 minute running clock halves

WHO:
• 2nd - 10th Boys and Girls
• Depending on number of teams registered, divisions may combine or split into rec/competitive

WHEN:
• Tuesday and Thursday evenings
• 2 games per week, usually on the same night
• 3/31 - 5/7
• 5:30-9:00 PM
Note: Playoff schedules may differ

WHERE:
• All games held at the Young Family Athletic Center

REGISTRATION:
This is a team registration. Head coaches register their team by clicking "Enroll" below.
•Registration open 2/9 - 3/22
• $350/team (increases to $400/team after 3/8)
Note: Teams may elect to play up 1-2 grade levels. No team will be allowed to play down.

ROSTERS:
We recommend 4-6 players per team. Rosters will be entered by the coach at time of registration. If players need to be added or removed after registration, please email yfac_leagues@normanok.gov.

UNIFORMS:
All teams are required to wear numbered jerseys/shirts. Both light(home) and dark(away) versions are required. YFAC does not provide uniforms.

PRACTICE:
Coaches are responsible for practice accommodations and scheduling. Practice space is not provided by YFAC.

CLOSED: YFAC Spring Volleyball - Spring 2026

OPEN REGISTRATION IS CLOSED as of 2/22/26 

Register ONLY if you have a team placement

• Co-ed Divisions: 2nd-6th, If needed for divisions
• Grades will be combined into "2nd, 3rd & 4th", &  "5th & 6th"

Spring Volleyball League:

• 8 Games played on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Regular season games will begin the week of 03/23 and end 05/10.
• Single Elimin Tournament will be May 11-14

Registration is 12/29- 2/22

• Early: $85 12/29/25- 01/18/26  Regular: $105 01/19-02/8  Late :$125 02/9-02/22
